Al-Rasheed Benton is a star junior linebacker prospect for Malcolm X Shabazz (N.J.) High School, although he attends Bloomfield Technical High School during the day. We first stumbled upon him at the Schiano 7-on-7 Shootout where his quickness and overall football ability helped him stand out amongst the many players in attendance. Although 6-foot-1, and over 200 pounds, Benton displayed the feet to be able to keep up with smaller receivers and consistently make plays on the football.
