College: As a freshman, Jackson played in 17 games and averaged 0.6 ppg and 0.6 rpg in limited action.

High School: Jackson averaged 19.6 points and 8.7 rebounds for the Boys and Girls High School of Brooklyn, N.Y. His efforts earned him NYSSWA All-State honors.
